DAWODU OLAYEMI

Dr. Olayemi O. Dawodu is a Anatomic and Molecular Pathologist who holds an M.B.B.S from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, as well as fellowships in Pathology (Anatomic and Molecular Pathology) and Laboratory Medicine of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and West African College of Physicians respectively, which makes her eligible to practice in Nigeria and the West African region. She is an alumna of Said Business School, University of Oxford Executive Education. She has over 19 years experience in clinical and administrative roles in the healthcare space with training at the Department of Pathology, Indianapolis University and Purdue University, Indiana, USA. She practices as Consultant Anatomic Pathology with special interests in Gynaecologic pathology, Endocrine Pathology with emphasis on the thyroid gland and environmental pathology. Dr. Olayemi Dawodu is the MD/CEO Clina-Lancet Laboratories a household name in the healthcare space and a part of the Cerba-Lancet Healthcare group, she started her career with the organization in 2015 as the country’s Histopathologist where she built the trust of fellow consultants and effectively managed the histopathology unit before being promoted to her current position in 2016. She is a Board Member of Clina-Lancet Laboratories, Nigeria. In her role as the CEO, she was positioned at the forefront of the business where she provides strategic leadership, manages daily business operations and oversees the overall growth and development of the organization. She is passionate about contributing to the healthcare sector through dedicated delivery of excellent Pathology services, administrative expertise and leadership. As an avid researcher, she has publications in local and international journals. She is a reviewer of peer academic articles for the foremost national pathology journal and a lecturer in Anatomic Pathology at the college of Medicine, University of Lagos. She serves as a member of the Accreditation Advisory Committee for Nigerian National Accreditation System and she works with a diverse population in the healthcare sector providing a global perceptive in the delivery of healthcare solutions both in the clinical and administrative roles. She is a sitting member of the “Health as a Business” Committee of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group and also a member of the Insitute of Directos of Nigeria. She is a WimBiz Mentor. She is one of the first 50 Founding Members of GAIA AFRICA, the first C-suite women-only business club in Africa. She is a member of the prestigious female-only “Angel Investors” club in Africa called ‘Rising Tide Africa’ interested in promoting especially female entrepreneurs with seed investments. Dr. Olayemi Dawodu has received notable awards such as; “Medical Personality Leadership Prize Winner 2016” organized by the African Prize for Leadership Excellence Awards” in conjunction with the African Union and ECOWAS, ‘Best Female CEO in the West African Region’ an Honorary Award at the 2017 ECOWAS Quality Awards organized by ECOWAS, European Union and UNIDO as recognition of the implementation of a successful Quality Management System in the Organization. She fosters a team-based and capacity-building approach to achieving organizational goals. She is keen on the provision of excellent healthcare delivery especially quality pathology and diagnostic services in Nigeria and Africa. In her spare time, Dr. Olayemi Dawodu enjoys reading books, dancing and travelling. She believes that people should always put their best foot forward at every opportunity.
COKER LARA

Omolara Coker, an accomplished and well-rounded lawyer, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. She holds an LLM degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from Kings College, University of London and was a seasoned Litigator who has appeared extensively in all superior courts of records in Nigeria. She is also a Notary Public Lara Coker went ahead to garner extensive company secretarial experiences including becoming the Company Secretary of a publicly listed company, and currently works as Head of Legal and External Communications in one of the leading Indigenous Oil and Gas companies in Nigeria. Omolara, also has a plethora of experience in tax and business advisory, including working in a business and tax advisory division of one of the “big four” multidisciplinary firms. Lara has also worked in various industries and sectors, and now regards herself as a Business Advisor rather than a Lawyer. Self-motivated with an appetite for acquiring new knowledge, Lara continues to develop her leadership and managerial skills. She recently attended the IE business school and Advanced Management program at the Harvard Business School. She believes in paying forward and acts as a mentor to many young professionals and women, especially those trying to balance family life while progressing in their chosen careers. Omolara Coker is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, the Institute of Director (Nigeria) and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
CANDIDE-JOHNSON OLATOWUN

Olatowun Candide-Johnson is a lawyer with thirty+ years’ experience in corporate and commercial law and in business development and governance of multinational corporations. During her career, she worked in Law Practice, Shipping, & Oil and Gas. Whilst working with the Total Group, she worked in different divisions including three years at the New Business Division in the Paris HQ. Before taking early retirement, she held the roles of General Counsel, Executive General Manager, Management Services Division (incorporating Legal, Audit, Insurance and Anti-Corruption Compliance) and Chief Compliance Officer for the Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria. In 2016, she obtained a Global Executive MBA awarded by LSE, NYU Stern and HEC (Paris), known as the TRIUM Global Executive MBA. After many years in corporate life, she turned her sights to an entrepreneurial pursuit and challenge to open an exclusive space in Lagos to help bridge the business connections gap currently experienced by leading Women in Nigeria. As a result, “GAIA AFRICA” (GAIA – meaning “Mother Earth”), a Members only business and social Club for leading women was founded (www.gaiaafricaclub.com). GAIA AFRICA is located in Victoria Island, Lagos. Yetunde Bankole-Bernard is the Executive Director of Finchglow Group, a Group of 6 companies in the downstream sector of the Aviation, Travel and Tour Industry. She oversees Corporate Communications, Product Design, Customer and Brand Experience. A communications expert with an illustrious career working in Africa’s leading Brand Activation agency EXP Nigeria and TPT Lagos (A PR firm), where she honed her skills in PR and Media relations, working across industries – Finance. FMCGs, Telecomms, and so on with multinationals and premium brands. She is also the Principal Strategist at The Yetunde Bernard Company, a personal brand, and personality development agency. Kofo Ati-John, a graduate of French & the Arts, very recently retired as the General Manager Human Resources overseeing the Deep Water District of the Nigeria based French multinational, Total E&P Nigeria Limited after more than 3 decades of wide-ranging experience in the Human Resources Division, implementing key deliverables in strategic partnership with the business in the following specialisms: Learning and Talent Development, Organisational Design, Resourcing, Talent Planning, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits as well as Employee Relations. She is an Alumni of Harvard Business School Executive Education and member of local & International HR professional bodies member of several HR professional institutes. During her career she has worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Diageo Plc, Ford Motors and the Department for International Development – DFID UK. Beyond her day job, Folashade also served on the 24 Executive Board Committee of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) and serves as a board member of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Private Sector Advisory Group (PSAG) Nigeria and the board of the United Nations Global Compact Nigeria. She also sits on the Board of the European Business Organisation (EBO) in Nigeria where she serves as the President. Fola is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School Advanced Management Program and also completed a post-graduate Women Transforming Leadership program with the Said Business School, Oxford.
