Yewande Zaccheaus is a Lawyer, Banker, Author, and an Entrepreneur. She has a Law degree from University of Lagos, Master’s in law from Cambridge University and attended the AMP of the IESE Business School, Barcelona. She started her career in the legal department of Nigerian American Merchant Bank, then after a brief stint in private practice moved to Ecobank Nigeria PLC as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser. She is the author of 4 inspirational books (God’s Waiting Room 1-4) written to encourage families experiencing delay in childbearing. She is the Founder & CEO of Eventful Ltd an event planning company established in 2002. Yewande is passionate about redefining the events and entertainment landscapeof Nigeria. She is the convener of The Food Souk, an annual food and drinks fair, The Beauty Souk, a niche fair for beauty enthusiasts and The Fashion Souk, a platform for fashion entrepreneurs across the entire fashion value chain. She serves on several boards as a director and is a Founding Trustee of WIMBIZ(Women in Management, Business and Public Service)
WRIGHT BIMBOLA

Bimbola Wright is a versatile and results oriented senior executive with over 33 years experience in Corporate Banking, Strategy & Research, Wealth Management and Management consulting. After several years in the Banking & Financial sector, Bimbola recently joined Wright & Co a Leadership Consulting, Management and Training Company (Affiliated with Leadership and Vision Limited) as Executive Director. She sits on the Board of Pinefield schools and is active in WIMBIZ. A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management and Member Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria, Bimbola is an ardent believer in everyone’s ability to exceed expectations.
UZOKWE PEARL

Pearl Uzokwe is the Director for Governance and Sustainability at Sahara Group Limited. Pearl is a qualified solicitor and member of the Law Society of England & Wales. She graduated with a LLB (Hons.) from the University of Bristol and is also a Chartered Secretary (ICSA). She has since experienced remarkable professional growth in the last fifteen years whilst building her legal career within UK and Nigerian corporate structures. In 2002, she began working at the Crown Agents UK who provide specialist and multidisciplinary services in institutional development, international trade & procurement, and finance. She built a strong working relationship with donors which include country donors like the UK, French and South African governments, and private NGOs like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. These two funds in addition to her work on the Emerging African Infrastructure Fund (EAIF) influenced her decision to seek employment primarily with organizations who combined their corporate pursuits with a clear and effective social purpose. After a period with City of London firms Denton Wilde, Sapte LLP and Stephenson Harwood LLP working within their corporate departments, she relocated to Lagos, Nigeria in 2009 and joined the Legal team at Sahara Group as the third member of the then budding department. Pearl’s vast professional experience within the upstream, downstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry, corporate law and international development culminated in her appointment as the Group’s Director for Governance and Sustainability – a role which her professional pursuits and private passions seemed to have been leading up to in the period before hand.
UGBEVA KELECHI

Kelechi Ugbeva is the Founding Partner at Blackwood & Stone LP where she provides specialist tax and corporate/commercial legal services to resident and non-resident entities as well as individuals doing or proposing to do business in Nigeria. Kelechi is dually qualified – She’s called to the Nigerian Bar and admitted to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales. She holds a Masters (LLM) in International Business Law from the University of London, and is a licensed tax practitioner. Through the course of her career, she has worked in leading British and Nigerian Commercial law firms. In 2017, she founded Blackwood & Stone LP, a Tax & Legal Firm based in Lagos, Nigeria dedicated to providing clients with specialized tax, regulatory compliance as well as corporate and commercial law services. Blackwood & Stone LP forms part of a global legal and tax alliance located in over 100 countries. The clientele of Blackwood & Stone includes Nigerian & multinational companies, foreign investors, family owned & owner – managed businesses as well as individuals. Kelechi is currently the legal adviser to the board of the Nigerian Belgian Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Taxation Committee of the Section on Business Law – NBA, member Chartered institute of Taxation, Nigeria, and member, International Fiscal Association.
TINUBU BOLA

Bola Tinubu is a Corporate Lawyer and a Chartered Governance Professional who has spent over 25 years advising companies and business owners. She is a Partner in the law firm of Olajide Oyewole LLP (A member of DLA Piper Africa) where she leads its Corporate Practice. Bola is also a Chartered Secretary and remains the only Nigerian to be awarded the status of Chartered Director by the Institute of Directors, U.K. as a testament to her commitment to, and special interest in corporate leadership and governance. Bola’s advice is widely sought in the development and expansion of businesses, corporate transactions, board performance matters, as well as corporate crises. She is on the board of several companies and non-profit organisations, some of which she chairs. Away from her professional life, Bola is the Founder and Chair of the Board of The Cece Yara Foundation, an award-winning not-for-profit organization established to provide services for children who have been sexually abused. Bola’s work with children has been recognized by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and she was included in its annual list of 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2018 for establishing Nigeria’s first free child helpline and Child Advocacy Centres, which provide emergency intervention, legal, medical, psycho-social and child forensic interview services to children who have been sexually abused – all for free. She is also the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender, a body which was established by the Lagos State Government to provide free legal aid and services to the poor and vulnerable residents of the State, with emphasis on the issues threatening the socio-economic rights of the disadvantaged groups, including women and children. TAYLOR TINA

Tina Taylor is Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of a commercial and technology management firm, Core3 Innovations, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heritage STEM Camps Foundation. These organizations engineer ideas that impact thousands of minority women and children in the US and Africa by driving community transformation and building economic parity. Taylor is passionate about equal participation and empowering women and children in STEM education. The end-goal is to propel financial and entrepreneurial freedoms, challenge the status quo, and infuse future leaders’ confidence. With over 25 years of leadership experience as a senior executive in diverse, multinational organizations, she promotes inclusivity in the workforce and redefines cultural paradigms via unique business solutions. SHASORE GBEMI

Gbemi Shasore is the Founder & Executive Publisher at a home-grown media company that produces content for a diverse audience. She is the producer of Quramo’s groundbreaking documentary “A Platter of Gold” about the creation of Nigeria and the steps to independence of the nation. She is also convener of the annual Quramo Writers’ Prize which is now in its fourth year. This multifaceted Entrepreneur also serves as the Executive Director of ‘Access to Knowledge’, an organization dedicated to increasing knowledge and education in Africa, Founder of the Simi Johnson Trust, and owner of Main Events, an event management company.
SADIKU YEWANDE

Yewande Sadiku has been Executive Secretary/CEO of Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (“NIPC”), Nigeria’s foremost investment promotion agency since November 2016. Until October 2016, she was the Executive Director responsible for Stanbic IBTC Group’s Corporate and Investment Banking business, ensuring the realisation of business opportunities in Nigeria’s complex operating environment. She managed key relationships with regulators, and several of Nigeria’s leading corporate and multinational clients. Ms Sadiku was previously Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC’s investment banking business. In a 23-year banking career, Ms Sadiku handled assignments for clients in virtually every sector of the Nigerian economy, providing financial advice on a variety of assignments, while ensuring strict legal and regulatory compliance. She played an active role in the development of the capital market by participating in industry committees and chairing the Rules and Compliance Sub-Committee, which advised SEC on the rules that guide the operation of Nigeria’s Investments and Securities Act for 12 years. She frequently facilitated dialogue between corporate clients and regulators. Ms Sadiku has an interest in bringing formal financing to the Nigerian film industry and raised funding for Half of a Yellow Sun (2014) a full feature film. She was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship for International Leadership in May 2010 and was one of “35 International Women Under 35” featured in the October 2007 edition of World Business Magazine.
SAMANDE DEMI

Demi Samande is a professional architect turned furniture manufacturer with over 8 years experience in furniture design and build. She worked as an architect for several years before deciding to venture out and follow her passion for manufacturing. She holds a B.Sc degree in architecture from London Metropolitan University in the UK and is currently in Nigeria establishing her company Majeurs Chesterfield as a leader in good sustainable furniture manufacturing. She is a certified Leather and upholstery expert who has been hired to work on projects for some of England’s high profile individuals. Majeurs Chesterfield is now a brand known both in England and Nigeria for its high-quality innovative designs. With its seamless blend of traditional and contemporary pieces, Demi has been able to infuse her creativity with traditional designs, training her team of local artisans to create quality furniture for her discerning clients who are increasingly demanding better-quality craftsmanship. The brand, which has barely been present in Nigeria under 2 years, has achieved multiple milestones. Demi is a part of IDAN (Interior design association of Nigeria) and BNI networking organization with around 233,000 members in 8,399 local chapters worldwide. They have designed and built furniture for some dignitaries within Nigeria as well as filled many homes and creative spaces with their work. She has been able to master the art of providing unique furniture solutions to businesses and homes that seek ways to create functional spaces using quality furnishing that is both functional and affordable. She is passionate about manufacturing, training young individuals the art of good craftsmanship. In line with her corporate passions, she is involved in several pro-bono activities mentoring young men and woman in entrepreneurship. In her leisure time, Demi loves to read, listen to music, and travel.
